Early AI Adoption
When ChatGPT was first introduced in 2021 and Artificial Intelligence roared, Dimitri saw the potential and dove in. He created a podcast series, generously using AI to brainstorm, craft stories, and create content. Working with various Generative AI tools—LLMs, Stable Diffusion, Deforum, and DALL-E 3—he learned to be innovative, realize creative ideas independently, and create compelling audio content.
Current Roles
Full-time Developer at GoBeyond – Working on AI tooling designed to streamline procurement processes. The tools won't take over the job, but make it much more efficient and enjoyable—leaving the boring work to AI so professionals can focus on the engaging aspects of their work.
Product Owner at Juriaan.ai – Aligning the product roadmap with clients' actual workflows through active collaboration, setting up strategic and mutually beneficial partnerships to build tools together. At Juriaan, the belief is that AI should streamline processes, not replace the human factor—the combination of AI and Human Intelligence (HI) remains most effective.
Education
Graduated with a Bachelor in Security Studies from Leiden University, covering topics such as international relations, international law, and terrorism. This academic background provides a unique perspective on risk, compliance, and strategic thinking—now applied full-time as a developer at GoBeyond.
Creative Work
Producer & Host of "Anatomy of Catastrophe" Podcast (2023-2024) – Researched different disasters, created storylines accurately representing the unfolding of these events, recorded and edited all audio content. A testament to his ability to combine storytelling with technical production skills.
